Ford Transit Long Wheelbase Van
Powered by front-wheel drive Ford Ranger diesel engine, the long-wheel based version of the Transit has plenty of guts to perform any number of transporting tasks. Despite its increased size, the drive remains smooth and the engine runs relatively quietly for a larger vehicle.
The enhanced dimensions of the van— 3.3m long, 2m wide and 2.7m in height — makes it ideal for house removals. Beds and large pieces of furniture will comfortably slide over the plywood-lined interior and be perfectly secure once onboard. A great van for touring bands, also. A whole orchestra of boxed instruments could live in the large confines of the Transit. You could fit a grand piano in the back with room to spare. (A large grand piano measures at 154cm wide!)
The van has front and rear doors, making loading and unloading much easier. Remote central locking and alarms are fitted; meaning you can rest easy, particularly if your possessions are parked overnight. Power-steering makes handling a dream and stereos are fitted to keep you entertained on those long journeys.
